Resident Services

Daystar’s purpose is to provide a supportive and affordable home atmosphere for residents within the concept of “independent living.” Residents should be in good health and able to care for themselves in normal areas of living. Daystar is not a nursing facility and does not offer nursing care.

Types of rooms available
Individual residential rooms and two-room suites accommodate several pieces of favorite personal furnishings. Residents care for their own rooms, with professional cleaning assistance once a week. Every effort will be made to ensure your comfort and privacy.

We offer three types of apartments:

Studio, with private bath (no shower)
Studio, with private bath and shower
Two-room suite, with private bath and shower

For those apartments without showers, spacious shower rooms are just a short walk down the hallway.

Pricing
Monthly rates are based on actual cost of operation. There is a modest one-time entrance fee, which may be refundable up until completion of the first six months of an applicant's stay. A benevolence fund is available to aid qualified applicants not able to meet the full monthly rate.
